Meet the Doctors.

Dr. Taylor Sirois

Dr. Taylor Sirois grew up in Salem, MO. He is a third generation chiropractor and has enjoyed the benefits of being under chiropractic care since birth. Growing up, he was always very active in sports and noticed that having regular chiropractic adjustments allowed him to perform at higher levels and avoid injuries. He would later go on to play basketball at the collegiate level where his team made three national tournament appearances. He attained his B.S. in Biology from Evangel University and then began his chiropractic training at Logan University, College of Chiropractic. Dr. Taylor always knew he wanted to be a chiropractor and is excited to have the opportunity to move back to Missouri and give back to his community. During his time at Logan University, Dr. Taylor learned the most up to date, scientific and comprehensive chiropractic care.

Dr. Taylor had the privilege to serve at the largest chiropractic office in the state of Colorado with Dr. Michael Viscarelli. It was there that Dr. Sirois worked first hand with practice members with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic pain, Sciatica, Migraines, and Fibromyalgia. This practice is also one of the largest pediatric practice in the entire state. Many people do not know the benefits children can have from chiropractic care. Dr. Sirois personally helped children with Ear Infections, Colic, Autism, Bed Wetting, and A.D.H.D. Dr. Sirois has certifications and experience with adjusting techniques that allow for very gentle adjustment for children and even adults.

Dr. Amanda Alcamo was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. Growing up, she was always very active in sports and the arts and noticed that having regular chiropractic adjustments allowed her to perform at higher levels and avoid injuries.

When she was in her adolescent years she developed Scoliosis, which forced her to be put in a back brace 18+ hours/day for years. Unsuccessful due a 68 degree curvature in her spine, she underwent her first Spine Surgery which was 22 hours at the age of 16 in which they placed 2 Harrington Rods and over 40 screws in her spine. After a long recovery and intense therapy, she went onto college and played basketball at the collegiate level.  She obtained a double Bachelor’s in Science in Biology and Broadcast Media Communications from Missouri Baptist University. While attending college, due to severe complications of her spine, she went on to having two additional spine surgeries which accumulated to 36 hours combined surgery time, and ended with the surgeons removing the hardware from her spine completely and leaving her with a completely fused spine from T3-L4 & a "wait & see method."

After two more long recoveries, she began her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Logan University.   Understanding pain herself, Dr. Amanda felt God had led her to a wonderful profession in which she could help multiple people get off medications and live a drug free/pain free life as well as focus on pediatrics to be proactive instead of reactive & do more spinal curve correction before it has the potential to progress into scoliosis & other functional/ structural abnormalities.

Fun Fact: Out of the office, you can find Dr. A on the golf course, hiking her Golden-Doodle, Sonny, biking or traveling any chance she gets!

Dr. Hira Khan

Dr. Hira Khan is originally from Wisconsin.  She's a fifth generation doctor in her family, but proud to say a first generation chiropractor. She always thought she'd follow her grandparents footsteps and become a pediatrician or a surgeon. However, when her mother was suffering from glioblastoma, Dr. Hira knew that she needed to devote her life to leading people to optimal health. Around that time she was introduced to Chiropractic by an aunt and learned how chiropractic was unique from every other healthcare profession, focusing on health, whereas the US healthcare system focuses on disease. She knew that she was born to be a Chiropractor.  Dr. Hira truly believes that optimal health is only present when our nervous system is functioning 100%. We live our lives through our nervous system and its connection to the rest of our body. A fixation, subluxation, in a joint hinders messages from flowing between the brain and the body. This leads to lack of sensation and ultimately causes discomfort, pain and/or illness.

Dr. Hira set out on a mission to learn chiropractic but specifically pediatric chiropractic. She completed a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA to earn Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She has been practicing for 3 years. She received Webster’s technique certification in 2017 from ICPA. She is Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics.

While at graduate school not only was she learning from the best, she was sharing the knowledge with other students. She was teaching Sacro Occipital technique as a club leader, a teachers assistant for Physical Therapy and Physical Diagnosis courses, a clinic radiology intern, and the vice-president of Student International Chiropractors Association.

Dr. Hira's goal is to bring Chiropractic to all the countries, especially Pakistan with the help of International Chiropractors Association — setting up Chiropractic licensure and teaching about the benefits of Chiropractic.

Fun Fact: In her spare time she enjoys being outside, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, working out, drinking coffee, working with dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.
